Do you prioritise sleep enough?

Post in collaboration with TEMPURĀ® I LOVE sleeping. It’s strange, as when we are young, we want to stay up late, we pull all nighters and an early night is basically the worst thing in the world. Nowadays, I long for an early night and I seem to have a never-ending list of stuff that I need to do. Of course, what happens is that I get caught in a never-ending cycle of being too tired to achieve what I need to do, stay up to do it, don’t get it done, wake up tired,… View Post

The season of discount tents with Blacks

Post in collaboration with Blacks As I sit here typing this, I can’t believe that we are so close to September. It’s been a manic couple of months and I’m not sure where the time has gone. One of the things that you may have done over the summer holidays is to go camping. Or you may be thinking about going next year, or even with this heatwave expected to continue, be pondering a weekend break back to nature. I have to confess, I’m not the greatest camper. Rockalily Cuts

If you’ve been following me for a while, you will be aware that I really love my hair. And if you’re not aware, just look to the side panel. Yep, that’s me. A walking, talking mermaid. People often ask me where I get my hair done and it’s often got me shout outs in races. When I’m in town, people stop to chat. Life on the injury bench

My next blog post was supposed to be an update on my training for the Tallinn Marathon in September. Or it was supposed to be an announcement on my big target for next year. Unfortunately, both of those things are now on hold. I’m hopeful of next year’s goal, but I don’t want to announce it until I’m sure I can work for it. Yep. I’m on the injury bench and I am more than a little bit frustrated about it.     I have been struggling a bit in this hot weather to run,… View Post

Hiking in the Alps with Quechua

If you’re a regular shopper in Decathlon, you may have heard of Quechua. One of Decathlon’s in-house brands, they are based at the foot of Mont Blanc in Sallanches, next door to the Decathlon Mountain Store. Surrounded by the glorious mountains, this is the perfect base for them to develop their hiking products, which are designed and tested in-house. Their head office is shared with Wed’ze, who were born from Quechua in 2007 and focus on ski and snowboarding activities.     Last month, along with some other bloggers, I was invited to spend a… View Post
