3ness fitness, party, and pamper weekend

I was really lucky recently and was invited to attend a fitness weekend with 3ness. 3ness is a fitness events management company and they specialise in fitness weekends and holidays.     I’ve been wanting to attend a fitness break for a long time but have often felt a bit intimidated when looking at websites. What if I hate the food provided and get so hungry that I need to sneak out at night and hike to a Tesco Express for Kit Kats? What if I’m the only one who can’t do a push up?… View Post

Active Travel: Kayaking in Guernsey

A few weeks ago, I had a brilliant few days in Guernsey with my friend Jo. As well as racking up my 50th parkrun, we had an action packed few days including a brilliant kayaking session with Outdoor Guernsey. Running a marathon abroad

It would satisfy my wanderlust and I think it would be fun to run an event abroad. Plus having spent the money to go and travel would surely motivate me to work extra hard,… View Post

Forest Foraging with Forest Holidays – Part 2 Cooking!

Recently, I had a wonderful night at the Forest of Dean with Forest Holidays (Part 1 of review). The idea of the trip was to teach us how to forage for food and then prepare it. Warning: this post is NOT vegetarian friendly. The second day of our visit saw a slight blip when the electricity on site and in the surrounding village failed. However, this wasn’t a problem for us as the trip was about getting back to nature anyway, although I have to confess to being sad about missing out on my promised… View Post
