Exercise for the brain

I miss exercising. By some fluke, I am somehow already only 4lb off my pre-pregnancy weight and I very smugly fitted into a size 12 yesterday when we took the Devil-Child shopping. I am looking forward to running again and have entered the ballot for the Royal Parks Half Marathon, in the hope of something to aim for after the British London 10k. I can’t pretend I love the price, but it is a lovely race.

Anyway, to exercise my brain (or not, as it requires little concentration), Cathy sent me a book to wreck as she thought that it would be something fun to do without concentrating too much.

She was right. She also bought one for herself and you can read about it here.

I opened it at random and the book told me to hold it in my neighbour’s yard. My neighbour doesn’t have a yard so I skipped that and opened it again:

Writing “git”

I did think about writing “antidisestablishmentarianism“, but 1) I don’t know how to spell it and 2) it involves concentrating and 3) my hand would probably have started to hurt. It’s also NOT the longest word in the English language so I would have looked like someone trying to be clever and failing.

So I wrote “git”.
