Juneathon 17 – Gore Sunlight Lady Running Top Review

Having allowed myself a couple of days to recover from Saturday’s parkrun, I took myself out yesterday for a mile jog. I was shocked by how stiff my legs felt; I shall keep persevering, but I really hope my fitness starts to return soon!

I recently received a SUNLIGHT LADY Running Top from Gore for review purposes and it seemed like a good time to try it out.

Made from breathable Microfiber, this top has been designed with style in mind in addition to comfort. It’s available in a selection of lovely colours and I opted for red. When it arrived, I was surprised by how flimsy it seemed compared to my other tops. When they say the fabric is thin, they aren’t exaggerating, but it is wonderfully soft.

I asked for a size 14 and was sent an XL. The top is a stylish length, hugging around the hips but the flimsiness of the material means it isn’t so flattering where my excess fat is concerned.

It is however very comfortable to run it and it kept me far cooler than my other tops.

At £49.99, the Gore SUNLIGHT LADY Top isn’t cheap, but the breathable qualities are superior to any other top I’ve worn. It’s stylish, but I’ll feel more confident in mine once I’ve toned up again. If you want to purchase it, you can do so here.

Edited to add: I have worn this top a few times since and pleased to note that it also does well in the washing machine, retaining the shape and fit. Very comfortable and fast becoming one of my favourite tops.
