Juneathon 15 – Slowest ever parkrun 5k

The blogging has dwindled slightly over the past couple of days – I have been very tired. However, the exercise has continued. Again, whilst not as impressive as most, I’ve clocked up 24.4 running miles so far this month. I’ll take that. I went to the Greenwich Park Run this morning at Avery Hill with my friend Jo, who was visiting from her usual Bromley run. Due to being lazy and a funny ankle, this was to be my first attempt at running 5k this year. I had already decided not to worry about running a good time and instead just try to get round. Poor Jo has been struggling with a back problem recently, so we decided to run together and try to target 33-34 minutes and be happy with that. Jo is a lovely person… View Post
