Future Fit Childhood Nutrition

Firstly, I feel I must apologise to the lovely folks at Action PR for the tardiness of this post. It’s been a long time coming. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to attend a really interesting event hosted by Action PR. Delivered by the knowledgable and passionate Performance Nutritionist, Tilly Spurr on behalf of Future Fit Training, we were given a fascinating insight into the importance of Childhood Nutrition. I loved Tilly. I’m not a nutritionist. I love food and I care about what I eat. I have a 3 year old and I… View Post

Dream Dinner Party In Italy

I love to cook. And I love dinner parties. I even applied to go on Come Dine With Me once. Bottled it though. I also think Italy is a pretty cool country. Or should I say hot? I visited Rome on a school trip back in 2001. It was a beautiful city with stunning food. I still remember the gelato and all the varieties on offer with fondness. I don’t look back on the 48 hour coach trip there and back though with quite the same level of fondness. Honestly, all we would need to… View Post

Goodlife Foods Review

With runners burning around 2,500 calories during the epic 26.2 mile route, a good meal is likely to be one of the first things on the agenda after crossing the finishing line. Luckily, many London pubs and restaurants get in the spirit of the marathon, offering offers and treats galore for the finishers. Play it right and you could even eat your way around the city for nothing! Royal… View Post

Baxters Soup Swap Challenge

If you follow me on Instagram, you’re probably aware that I’ve moved house. The last few weeks have been manic and I still don’t have my kitchen appliances fitted. Moving is a busy and stressful time, so anything that can make meal times easier is a real bonus. Especially when they give you the option of having something hot inside you.     Step forward, Baxters Soup. I was asked to take part in the Souper Swap Challenge, swapping my usual lunch choice for one of the Baxters soups every day for two weeks. My… View Post
