Active Travel: Isle of Wight

I love going on active trips away. I’ve visited Jersey and Guernsey over the past couple of years, but for an active trip even closer to home, it’s worth checking out the Isle Of Wight as a destination. Race report: Needles Cross Country 10k

As part of my fantastic trip to the Isle of Wight Festival of Running, I took part in the first ever Needles Cross Country 10k. The Needles XC Half Marathon is a very popular race on the Isle of Wight and is known as one of the toughest and most beautiful half marathons in the country. Medina IOW parkrun on tour report

I’m back from a fantastic weekend in the Isle of Wight, thanks to Visit IOW and the Isle of Wight Festival of Running.     My friend Jo and I have been working our way around the little islands, checking off parkruns in the name of tourism. A while back, I wrote about a list of marathons that I would love to cross off my bucket list.
