Post in collaboration with Scitec Nutrition It seems you can’t look at any media outlet at the moment without finding an article about vegans and plant-based diets. However, with record numbers of people completing Veganuary this year (myself included) and shops increasing their vegan range to cater for the “year of the vegan”, it perhaps isn’t surprising that it’s currently dominating the media (at least, when they aren’t covering Brexit). Why I’m taking part in Veganuary

I know, I’m not generally someone who joins in with these month-long pledges to give something up. But this year is different. I love food. I am meat eater. I’ve butchered meat. I cook with offal. Cheese is awesome. I don’t think it’s wrong to eat meat, nor do I believe that anyone should be judged for their food choices.
